Concept
SAI is a capability maturity model for acquisition organizations that acquire or procure software-intensive systems. It is used to assess their maturity and help them improve the systems acquisition process for software intensive systems. It provides a set of policies, process descriptions, practices and methods to support better management of the acquisition program.

Enterprises that apply the model to their acquisition processes realize benefits in identifying internal issues, problems, and risks that if properly addressed will ultimately lead to self-improvement. This self-improvement takes many forms such as more efficient operations and better morale.

Enterprise Optimus
Enterprise Optimus with its Deviations Management helps identify the issues and risks, their level of intensity, generate a plan to handle the risks and issues identified and implement the plan ultimately leading to self improvement.
